Information and Rules for House of Nine Bespoke Cruises – 2025 

The rates of our cruises are per cabin / room and include the following: 

  1. All meals during your tour package, both on land and on sea. 

  2. On land accompanied transfers during your package according to the advertised programme.

  3. At least one evening at the Daisy’s Restaurant with entertainment included.

  4. One cultural workshop.

  5. Museum tickets and visits with qualified tour guides as provided for in the package programme.

  6. Water sports activities listed online using the ship’s equipment, when permitted by local authorities and confirmed by the ship’s captain according to safety and sea conditions onsite.  Activities are provided to guests according to a fair schedule and shared equally across the tour among the guests.

  7. Use of the ships tenders according to availability and schedule, and when permitted by local authorities and confirmed by the ship’s captain according to safety and sea conditions onsite. Activities are provided to guests according to a fair schedule and shared equally across the tour among the guests.

  8. Aperitivo with a welcome drink each evening when at sea.

  9. Mineral water and coffee are included with meals.

  10. Allocated sunbeds on board according to room booking and varied according to the regulations of each room booking.

  11. Allocated dinner seats according to booking groups, and varied each evening according to regulations of each room booking to ensure fair and varied access to all spaces across the tour for each guest. 

  12. Free unlimited WIFI onboard.

Our cruise rates do not include: 

  1. Any flights, trains or airport transfers.

  2. Alcohol or soft drinks at meals.

  3. Credit/Debit card expenses (which may include additional administrative charges imposed by the authorities of a country or exchange rate charges) and/or immigration reciprocity taxes if applicable. 

  4. Gratuities/ tips to onboard crew, local guides, hotel staff and drivers.

  5. Beverages outside of meal and aperitivo times.

  6. Dives, exploration dives and discover scuba dives.

  7. Laundry services, hair salon and à la carte Spa treatments.

  8. Personal expenses, medical consultations and drug prescriptions .

  9. Cancellation/luggage/assistance/repatriation/medical insurance(s).

  10. Additional activities such as; extra museum tickets, additional guided tours, additional workshops, taxis or additional transfers, meals outside of the package programme.

Important information

The package follows a strict and uniform schedule, if any part of the schedule is missed by a guest the tour schedule will continue without said guest and the company takes no responsibility for any consequences resulting. These may include:

  1. Guests being unable to join the sea element of the package

  2. Guests being left without aid or support on islands as the yachts continue with their schedule 

  3. Guests missing meals, activities or other privileges included in the tour.

  4. Provided there is no impact on the overall activity of the tour (e.g. embarkation and cruising of the yachts, or departure from Florence) participation in certain aspects such as meals, cultural visits, swimming, water sports, and workshops are optional. Advance notice is requested from guests when they wish to not participate in certain elements of the tour. Non participation in activities has no impact on the price of the package and no refunds are possible. 

  5. Availability of rooms in Hotel Number Nine cannot be guaranteed, especially for last moment package bookings. The company guarantees provision of a hotel room of similar quality for the stay in Florence, and access to the same programme of meals and activities as advertised on the tour schedule. 

  6. Families with children under 16 years old are required to book a minimum number of room:

  1. a - On Curiosity Classic Superyacht the minimum is the lower deck 4 cabins, with other restrictions as described online.

  2. b - On Electa Classic Motor-Sailing Yacht families with children under the age of 16 are required to book the entire cruise. 

  1. The company cannot guarantee participation in the sea aspect of the package if guests are delayed in their arrival to Florence. If unable to participate in the sea element of the package for reasons of unavoidable delay through no fault of the guest the company will attempt to reschedule the sea element of the tour for the guests involved if possible, but cannot guarantee any results. 

  2. By choosing to participate in this package, passengers agree to follow the rules of good conduct presented by the expedition team during the cruise. We remind you that being properly equipped is essential (clothing, sunglasses, waterproof bag etc.) and we recommend bringing binoculars to enable you to observe the wildlife comfortably and respectfully during your excursions and shore visits. Any guests not observing the rules of good conduct presented will be asked to leave the cruise without any recourse to a refund.

  3. Shore excursions are provided when in port at the discretion of the captain according to the weather conditions present on each given day and the relevant safety rules of each yacht. In reasonable weather conditions at least one excursion is included in the schedule. 

  4. All schedules of the cruise on sea are subject to change according to the weather conditions of any given day, and are subject to the discretion of the captain according to the rules of each given yacht. The company accepts no responsibility for inconveniences following variations of the schedule of the sea cruise. Variations on routes or cancellation of the sea aspect of the tour can occur with the follow conditions:

  1. a - Routes have been created with the prevalent wind conditions in mind, and backup routes are planned for the non-prevalent conditions that nonetheless often occur. These will be implemented according to wind conditions by the captain but will have no effect on the content of the schedule, only on the order in which it is followed. The only exception is the 7 night Iconic Curiosity Cruise, which in case of non prevailing strong winds will visit the Island of Capraia instead of the Island of Giglio.  

  2. b - With certain unavoidable weather conditions the sea programme will be adapted or canceled according to the exact conditions occurring and in coordination with the ship captain.   3. c - See attached the official table of wind types, directions and speeds that will have a binding impact on the route and viability of navigation of each cruise. Weather & Wind Regulations 2025

  4. d - The company accepts no responsibility for change or cancellation of routes due to weather conditions. If the sea aspect of the cruise is canceled the company will either find replacement accommodation in Florence or continue to house guests on board the yachts but being harbored safely in port. If the sea cruise element does not depart, even for a reduced time frame compared to the schedule, a 50% credit for the package will be made available to the guests to spend within 2 years on a new cruise package.

  5. e - The company reserves the right to change or cancel any aspect of the sea cruise. No credit or refund will be given in case of cancellation, non-use or unavailability of an excursion. 

Currency on board: 

The official currency of the package tours is the Euro. When you arrive in Florence at Hotel Number Nine, an imprint of your credit card will be required. Upon checkout guests will be required to settle their non-included spend during their tour. Credit card or cash payment will be accepted only.
